Scammer Reveal Content Guidelines
Welcome to Scammer Reveal. These guidelines ensure that all reviews, comments, and posts contribute to a transparent and trustworthy community dedicated to exposing scams and fostering trust.
For Publishers
Your contributions help protect others from scams. When posting content on Scammer Reveal, please follow these rules:
- Content Ownership: You own your content and can manage it via your account on our login/register page. You’re responsible for its legality. Websites may contact you through our platform to discuss disputes.
- Genuine Experiences: Content must be based on real interactions with the website. We may ask for proof like receipts, emails, or screenshots to verify your experience.
- Lawful Content: Ensure your content complies with laws and respects others’ rights, including privacy and intellectual property. It must not be misleading or illegal.
- Relevance: Focus on your experience with the website. Avoid political, promotional, or unrelated information, including links to non-relevant sites.
- No Harmful Content: Emotional content is fine, but avoid inciting violence, discrimination (e.g., based on race, gender, or religion), or excessive profanity.
- No Incentives: Don’t accept payments or gifts for posting content. Avoid reviewing websites you, your family, or competitors own, or where you’re employed.
We don’t moderate content before or after posting, but reported content violating these guidelines will be reviewed. If non-compliant, it will be hidden, and you’ll have 7 days to edit it or provide proof. Compliant content will be restored; otherwise, it may be permanently hidden.
By posting, you agree to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
For Websites
If you disagree with content about your website, register or log in to contact the publisher directly. If unresolved and you believe the content violates our guidelines, you may start a Notice and Take Down procedure.
Notice and Take Down Procedure
Overview
This procedure allows reporting of clearly unlawful content. We rely on user and website reports since we don’t actively monitor content.
Dispute Process
Use this procedure for content violating our guidelines, not just negative reviews. Unlawfulness must be evident from the content or provided evidence.
Action Criteria
We act only when content is undeniably unlawful. Suspicions alone won’t trigger action.
Who Can Complain
Only the affected website owner or their authorized representative may file a request.
Prerequisites
You must first attempt to resolve the issue with the publisher via our platform.
Submission Process
Submit requests via our contact form or to report@scammerreveal.com with:
- Company name and website URL
- Your full name, phone, and email
- Content URL on Scammer Reveal
- For reviews: title, text, and reviewer’s name
- Explanation of unlawfulness with evidence (e.g., intellectual property proof)
- Correspondence with the publisher
- Proof of website ownership
- Desired outcome
Procedure Steps
1. Submit a complete request.
2. We review within 14 days. Incomplete requests are rejected with notification.
3. If unlawful, we take action (e.g., hide content). If not, the request is rejected.
4. Appeal by submitting a new request with new evidence.
Prohibited Behavior
Websites must not threaten or harass publishers to remove content, including via baseless legal claims. Violations lead to account suspension and authority reports. Threats against Scammer Reveal staff are also prohibited and will result in immediate action.
By using our platform, you agree to these guidelines, our Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy.
